I always try to pick something personal to reflect in my work. As I've
been feeling a bit down lately (Note: I need to do more pieces when
I'm feeling good!), I decided to do a piece on loneliness. The image is
still a bit bright, but that's my own reflection of hope always being in
the background. I tried to make the eyes stand out and appear "piercing".
I wanted a "scratched" effect, and used a B/W of a dead tree as a mask.
