Anna Francisca Schwertfeger was born on December 31, 1883 in Buffalo, New York. She was baptized on January 1, 1884 by Father C. Wagner of Saint Boniface R.C. Church, 124 Locust Street.

Anna died of a gastric ailment on November 16, 1884 at the age of 10 months. She is interred in Section XX, Lot 53, Line 5, Grave 13, United German & French Cemetery ("Pine Hill"), Cheektowaga, N.Y. After we extensively probed the site with shovels, we conclude that her grave never had a headstone.
