Aloysius (= "Alois") Boniface Rebescher was born on June 3, 1894, in Buffalo, New York. He was baptized by Fr. Ferdinand Kolb of Saint Boniface R.C. Church, 124 Locust Street, Buffalo, on the day of his birth. His sponsors were "Johann and Matilda Rebeski."

On his World War I draft registration card, Aloysius registers himself as "Albert Bernard Rebescher," and he lists his birth date as "June 3, 1893."

A notation on Aloysius' baptism record shows that he married Emilie Bilger on August 20, 1921, at Seven Dolors R.C. Church. Rebescher family records provided by Geri Ellerbrock indicate that Emilie was born on October 20, 1894, in Alsace-Lorraine, France. Aloysius and Emilie had no children.

Aloysius died in Buffalo of a heart condition on December 2, 1965. At the time of his death, the couple resided at 50 Davidson Avenue. Emilie died on July 28, 1973, at Deaconess Hospital in Buffalo. Aloysius and Emilie are interred in Sec. V, Lot 1195, Mount Calvary Cemetery (Pine Hill), Cheektowaga, NY.
