Kathryn (née "Catherine") Rebescher was born on December 29, 1900, in Buffalo, New York. She was baptized by Fr. Augustinius Fricker of Saint Boniface R.C. Church, 124 Locust Street, Buffalo, on December 30, 1900. Her sponsors were George and Catherine Stilber.

Records provided by Geri Ellerbrock indicate that Kathryn was a large woman and was a waitress at Maxell's (or possibly Max's) Restaurant at Main and Ferry Street in Buffalo. Later in life, she was a housekeeper for Fr. John Hennessey across from the Infant of Prague R.C. Church (the construction firm who had built this church was owned by her father and brothers. Kathryn never married.

Kathryn died at the age of 56 on May 10, 1957, in Buffalo. She is interred in Lot 22, Sec. 5, United German & French Cemetery (Pine Hill), Cheektowaga, NY.
